"Eventually, my teachers became my mentors, my friends became my sisters, and Grier became my home." -Ana Maria Sanchez
Visiting Grier is an important component of the admissions process. The informal visit allows for spontaneity, which provides authentic opportunities for discovery throughout the day.
During your visit to Grier, you will have the opportunity to meet with the admissions team, Head of School Kara Lawler, and members of the Grier family. You will also take a walking tour of the campus—meeting faculty, students, and resident advisors along the way—and enjoy lunch in the dining room with Grier School Ambassadors.
Seeing classes and activities in action will best provide you with a complete picture of Grier. If you would like to attend a class or are interested in a specific signature program, athletic team, or student club, be sure we are aware of your interest when you schedule your visit so that we can make the most of your time at Grier.
As you plan your visit to Grier, be sure to reference our suggestions on the website to find a list of recommended hotels and restaurants. Also consider leaving room in your schedule to enjoy downtown State College, home to Penn State University, just as our students do on the weekends. You will find great restaurants and boutiques to compliment a busy calendar of events to enjoy.
Contact Admissions to schedule your visit. If you cannot attend an on-campus interview, please let us know. We may be traveling to your area and can arrange a visit closer to your home.
