Stargazing Students Spot the International Space Station

Students met Friday night at Grier's Andrew Wilson Observatory to stargaze. Through the lenses of telescopes and with the naked eye, the students observed the International Space Station as it passed overhead.
Grier School's observatory was opened in January of 2016 due to the generosity of Michael, Mary Kay, and Jennifer Hallman '88. Open houses for Grier students, faculty, and staff are held on Friday and/or Saturday nights, weather permitting.
