Grier Congratulates the Class of 2016

Seniors and their parents enjoyed a weekend of Graduation festivities. The events included a Graduation Dinner held in the Gymnasium on Friday night. This was followed by a concert and dance showcase, a final opportunity for the seniors to perform as Grier students.  Time time-honored tradition of Candlelight Ceremony followed, with students gathering in the courtyard by candlelight.
The events culminated, of course, with the Graduation Ceremony on Lodge Lawn Saturday afternoon. Junior class servers attended the graduating seniors who proceeded down the Colonnade in their long white gowns. Senior members of the National Honor Society gave speeches, along with the valedictorian, Ivy W. Administrators presented senior awards and wished the Grier Class of 2016 best of luck. Congratulations!
