The Spotlight Shines on Senior Dancer Mikayla

As Bermuda native Mikayla W. enters her Senior year at Grier, she returns with a summer of great dancing experiences under her belt. Following the urging of Grier’s Dance Director, Jocelyn Hrzic, Mikayla applied to the Point Park University’s International Summer Dance Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Scholarship funds from the Bermuda Arts Council, allowed Mikayla to attend the prestigious program. Following her time in Pittsburgh, Mikayla performed in the Bermuda Civic Ballet Summer Intensive Program. Mikayla’s story was covered by the Bermuda news source Bernews.
