Sweet Victory for Grier Volleyball
Congratulations to the Grier volleyball team for the recent win against Sugar Valley. In a best of five match-up the girls won the first two sets (25-10, 25-11) and sealed the win in the fourth set (25-12). The team looks forward to playing Sugar Valley again Oct. 25th and is eager to prove themselves this season.
Update 10/03/16: Congratulations to the Grier volleyball team for their performance this weekend at the Huntingdon Volleyball Tournament. While the team did not qualify for the Gold Bracket semi-finals, the girls defeated both Tyrone and Mount Union to win the Silver Bracket. Be sure to come out and support the team as they play against St. Joseph’s Academy at 5 o’clock today in the gym.
Update 10/4/2016: Congratulations to the Grier Volleyball team in their win against St. Joseph’s Academy yesterday evening (10/3/16). Despite losing the first set (22-25) Grier came back to win the next three sets (25-23)(25-9)(25-18). The Lady Foxes will take on the Tyrone Golden Eagles on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at home.
