Grier Students Receive National Merit® Commendations
This year, the National Merit® Scholarship Program commended two Grier students. Seniors Tia K. and Victoria F. received the commendations in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.
According to the National Merit® Schoarlship website, the program "is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships" that college-bound U.S. citizen high school students enter by taking the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) exam.
While the commendation doesn't include direct scholarship funds from the National Merit® program, it does open the door tto other scholarships. Grier is very proud of these bright young women for their outstanding academic excellence.
