Grier's Running Club Debuts as 5K Champions
Members of Grier's Running Club had their first opportunity to shine when they participated in the 10th Annual Scott Grugan Memorial Run, with all four Grier runners placing and receiving medals and ribbons.
This race includes a 5K run and 1 mile trail race to honor the former chief radiologist at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and takes place at Pole Hill in Huntingdon, PA
The club advisor, Spanish teacher Ms. Taylor Leen, reported the results, "The race went really well! Tess M. finished 1st place overall for females. Megan H., Anna A. and Irene Z. placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively for their age group."
