The Grier Riding Department arranges for one or two riding clinics throughout the school year, held right here at Grier School. This year, Riding Director Chrystal Coffelt-Wood is honored to announce that the well-renowned and well-decorated master of riding Ollie Griffith will be a guest clinician of Western Riding on Monday, December 5th.
Clinician Ollie Giffith is a professional horseman and owner/operator of Autumn Rose Farm Inc., a complete equine instructional facility in Ohio. Additionally, Griffith has chaired the National Reigning Horse Association (NRHA) Judges' Committee for many years, led the NRHA teaching panel globally, and judged events in multiple continents. He has coached twelve individual riders to world-level titles and many more to top ten titles in youth and non-professional levels. One of Griffith's proudest accomplishments includes coaching the Ohio State Equestrian team for over thirty years; a team that has won more IHSA National Championships than any team in collegiate history.
