NHS Secret Santa Spreads Holiday Cheer at Grier
For the third consecutive year, Grier's National Honor Society chapter sponsored a school-wide Secret Santa gift exchange program. To foster a sense of togetherness during the holiday season, NHS invited students, teachers, and staff members to participate in spreading the cheer of the season.
NHS members randomly assigned each Secret Santa participant a gift recipient before Thanksgiving Break, giving the Secret Santas plenty of time to pick out a gift from the elves' workshop or local and online retailers.
Gifts began accumulating in NHS advisor Mrs. Michele Thibodeau's room shortly after Thanksgiving Break up through the December 4th deadline. Once the gifts were collected, NHS members then distributed the colorful packages to their recipients who opened the gifts and the cards that revealed the identities of the Secret Santas.
