Grier TV Wins a STN Distinguished Merit Bronze award!

This year, Grier TV joined the Student Television Network (STN) https://www.studenttelevision.com/, a prestigious organization based in California that contains Video/Film teachers and industry professionals in order to provide learning opportunities for students all over the country.  They hold workshops for teachers and students, and contests for schools to compete against each other for awards and recognition. 
 
This February, the AV Club submitted one of their episodes to the “Broadcast Excellence for a weekly news show” category, and were awarded a Distinguished Merit (Bronze)!  These competitions can contain hundreds of schools, and the possibility of not placing is very possible.  The AV Club learned on Friday afternoon last week that they were winners of this award for their submission, and they were thrilled!
