Grier Students Complete Hyner View Trail Challenge
On Saturday, April 23rd, Jaden and Tess from Grier completed the 10th Annual Hyner Trail Challenge. The Hyner Trail Challenge is a 16.4 mile rugged and challenging trail race up and down three large mountains north of Lock Haven, PA.
Jaden and Tess have been preparing for this event by running after school and training during Spring Break. Their hard work certainly paid off. The girls completed the race in 4 hours and 4 minutes, placing 5th and 6th in their age category (Under 19, female).

The Hyner View Trail Challenge is well-known among trail racers across the nation and the sport of trail racing is gaining popularity. Over 1000 people participated in this year's sold-out race. The Grier community is proud of Jaden and Tess for taking on this exciting physical and mental challenge in the great outdoors, and we wish to applaud their hard work training and completing the race. Way to go!
