Garden Club Visits Greenhouse
Members of Grier's Garden Club visited a local greenhouse and enjoyed the beautiful blooms of poinsettia flowers. The students purchased plants to give as cheerful gifts. Throughout the school year, Garden Club members enjoy learning about plants and the art of floral arrangement.
Past field trips have included Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, and past activities include creating centerpieces and other decorative floral arrangements. In January, Garden Club will visit Peterman's Floral Shoppe to make floral crowns under the tutelage of their floral designers.
