Speaker Englightens Students

As students returned to Grier from Winter Break, Grier was happy to host speaker Katie Koestner. Koestner is the Founder and Executive Director of Campus Outreach Services and Executive Director of the Take Back the Night Foundation. Her presentation to students at Grier, focused on Cyber Smarts and Digital Citizenship.

An expert at risk analysis and education law, Koester emphasized how what students say and do online today can be seen by prospective universities, employeers and others later. Because online information is routinely backed up onto servers, there is not a true "delete."
