Grier Dancers Awarded Scholarships
Over the summer, the National Dance Foundation of Bermuda awarded eight of the nation's most talented dancers with scholarships. Of those eight, two are Grier alumnae Jada P. '15 and Mikayla W. '17, and one, Rhianna E. '21, begins her education at Grier this year.

According to the Bernews article, Jada P. '15, now a top academic BFA student at the University of Arizona and on her way to a professional dance career, was awarded the $7,500 BF&M Scholarship in honor of L. John Profit. Recent Grier graduate, Mikayla W.'17, was awarded the $5,000 Chairman's Scholarship for up-and-coming Bermudians. Mikayla is entering her freshman year at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. New Grier student, Rhianna E. '21, received the Rising Son Cruises award of $1,000.
