Foxes Are Set for the 2017 Tennis Season
The 2017 Tennis team already has two matches under their belt. On Wednesday, the Foxes faced Central High School of Spring Cove School District in Martinsburg and started their season with a 5-2 win. Thursday, the team faced Mercersberg Academy with wins by the number one singles player and doubles team.
Tennis Coach Kelly Forest and the Grier community offer congratulations to the Grier Tennis Team on their first win of the season. The score was 5-2, with wins coming from our number one player Kristen L., number two player Olivia A., and number three player Maggie A.
Thursday, the team traveled to Mercersburg, Pennsylvania for their second match of the season for a hard fought match against Mercersberg Academy. Grier's number one singles player Kristen L., won her match 8-2 and Grier's top doubles team, Kristen L. and Maggie A., earned a 8-5 win.
