Riley F. Places at NATS Singing Competition

Each year, Grier’s Vocal Music Department competes in the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) Student Auditions. Last year, Riley F. competed in the Allegheny Mountain Chapter Student Auditions and secured a second place win. Riley competed against local men and women in 9^th and 10^th grade in the Lower High School Music Theater category, where she gave an 8-10 minute performance featuring the pieces Falling in Love with Love, On Monday, and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. This year, as a junior, Riley continues to study music at Grier. She is a member of the Concert Choir, Select Choir, and Grier's Rock Band.
