IEA Zone 11 Champs!
Congratulations to the Varsity Hunt Seat team; they are Zone Champions and heading to Nationals at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York, next month! At the Zone Championships at the Horse on Course Riding Center in Valencia, Pennsylvania, this weekend, the Grier Varsity Hunt Seat team maintained their undefeated season.
Maggie won her Open Individual Fences and Grace was second in Future Intermediate Flat, sending them both individually to Nationals. The High School team will send the following riders to compete for the team: Maggie in Open Flat, Sophie in Open Fences, Lindsay in Intermediate Fences and Flat, Kim in JV Novice Fences, Peyton in JV Novice Flat, and Shelby in JV Beginner Flat.
The Riding Instructors and all of Grier School applaud these riders for this wonderful achievement and wish the individual competitors the best of luck at Nationals!
