Grier Competes in National Singing Competition Student Auditions
Each year, Grier’s Vocal Music Department competes in the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) Student Auditions. This year, Grace A., Clara G., Alex H., and Ashley S. competed in the Allegheny Mountain Chapter Student Auditions at The Pennsylvania State University’s School of Music in University Park, PA
The students gave individual performances, live in the Esber Rehearsal Hall. The Grier students all competed in the High School Musical Theatre Women's category and their performances were about 8-10 minutes in length.
Congratulations the competitors who sang at the NATS competition this weekend at Penn State. Ashley sang her personal best. Grace and Alex were semi-finalists. Clara was a winner in her category. A big shout out to Carolyn Barr, who accompanied all four performers. This is such a nice way to represent Grier's Music Program!
