Excursion Club Hikes Through Canoe Creek State Park

Students in Excursion Club enjoyed a weekend hike to Canoe Creek State Park with Club Advisor, Mr. Tony Lang.  Canoe Creek State Park is located in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, less than 30 minutes away from Grier School.  The park is a popular spot for hiking, picnics, swimming, and fishing, and features limestone kilns from the quarry industry of the early 1900s. Canoe Creek State Park is just one of the many parks and natural areas near Grier. Here, in Central Pennsylvania, opportunities to enjoy fresh air in the great outdoors are plentiful. Members of Excursion Club look forward to more chances to get outside and explore!
