Halloween Fun at Grier!

Grier's Halloween celebration began on Friday, October 31st. Student Council invited everyone to dress up and participate in a quick costume contest. More fun followed over the course of the weekend, including: Trick-or-Treating, Outdoor Dance Party, Bonfire, and Movie night.
To kick-off the event, Mrs. Borst made a surprise appearance dressed as an old man, relaxing in his woodsy cabin, complete with BarcaLounger and a remote. Various teachers performed humorous short sketches representing the different channels he was watching, including Bravo!, History Channel, SyFy, PBS, kids programming and more. 

Next, students came up for the costume contest judging in categories like funniest, most creative, creepiest, and best group costume.  The audience voted by applause for the winners.  The winning students enjoyed buckets of candy from Student Council.
